Introducing OGY Active — A Complete Wireless Hi-Fi System

We are delighted to introduce OGY Active, a complete wireless Hi-Fi system that brings together the distinctive acoustic design of our OGY loudspeakers with modern digital technology.

OGY Active will make its world premiere at Audio Video Show 2026 in Warsaw, October 23–25, where visitors will have the opportunity to experience the new system for the first time.

The OGY philosophy, now active

At the heart of OGY Active is the same acoustic concept that defines the original OGY: a single full-range driver operating in a carefully designed transmission-line enclosure.

By using one driver to reproduce the musical spectrum, OGY avoids the conventional crossover between separate drivers. The result is a remarkably coherent and natural presentation, with the immediacy and musical expression that have become hallmarks of our loudspeakers.

The enclosure is crafted from high-quality Baltic birch plywood, combining acoustic performance with the understated aesthetics and attention to detail characteristic of Closer Acoustics.

With OGY Active, we have preserved this fundamental design philosophy while taking a new approach to amplification, signal processing and connectivity.

Everything you need to enjoy music

OGY Active combines dedicated amplification and digital signal processing (DSP) inside each loudspeaker with the Platin Stereo Hub HT, which serves as the central connection point for music sources.

The Hub communicates wirelessly with the loudspeakers using WiSA technology, providing high-quality digital audio transmission and precise synchronization between the left and right channels.

There is no need for a separate amplifier or speaker cables. Simply connect the loudspeakers to power, choose your music source and enjoy.

The system supports popular streaming services and technologies, including Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, AirPlay 2, Chromecast and Roon Ready. It also offers connections for traditional audio sources and televisions.

Designed for the way we listen

One of the most interesting features of OGY Active is its dedicated DSP tuning.

Beyond optimizing the performance of the loudspeaker, the system dynamically adapts its frequency response to the listening level, helping preserve tonal balance and musical engagement even at lower volumes.

This is particularly important in everyday listening, when music is often enjoyed at moderate or quiet levels rather than concert-like volumes.

Our goal was not simply to make OGY wireless. It was to create a complete, thoughtfully integrated system that retains the musical character of OGY while making high-quality listening more accessible and convenient.
